Radiographs show teeth development before starting phase one orthodontic treatment
This is what we call intervention/ interceptive orthodontic treatment as we notice the crowding / blocked out maxillary canines in the initial radiograph
Phase one started with expansion (for both arches followed by full upper and lower braces )
You see the amazing progress in the second radiograph how the teeth are properly aligned , fall into their proper position plus there's space for all teeth
By starting early we were able to intervene at the right time and avoid a lot of future problems like extraction / misalignment .
Treatment started about 14 months ago? The progress been amazing
Still possibly another 8-10 months of tx

Case: This radiograph shows tooth development of a patient before starting phase one of orthodontic treatment. Due to the crowding and malpositioning of the upper canines, we treated this patient with a technique called intervention/interceptive orthodontic treatment.
Treatment and Results: Phase one started with expansion (for both arches followed by full upper and lower braces) and as you can see, the second radiograph shows amazing results! The results were dependent on early treatment and intervening at the right time. This helps avoid future problems such as tooth extractions (taking teeth out) or misalignment of the teeth. The teeth are properly aligned, fall into their proper position, PLUS there is space for all the teeth! For this patient, treatment started 14 months ago with approximately 8-10 months of treatment remaining.
